This bag has been pretty much a year in the making - call me neurotic, but when we decided to go carry-on only (and only 7 kgs at that), I decided that every item brought with me would have to be perfect.
As we will be in warm climates until we hit Canada in September, my wardrobe will consist of summer clothing with some warmer layers for when the temperature drops. I plan to do a wardrobe swap and shop in America to re-acclimatise, but for now - here is what I've got.
There were a few "must-haves" that helped me choose what went into my bag:
- Light, crease-free, easy to wash clothing (no separate loads or delicate folding required)
- All in the same colour scheme (grey, black, navy blue)
- Can be worn with everything else I brought (i.e. no special bras required, or specific outfit combos)
- Is Functional (quick dry, has pockets, light-weight material etc).
So, with all this in mind, what did I end up with?
